We sailed on the 7 day Southern Caribbean cruise out of San Juan. The Summit is an older ship and certainly is showing a few signs of age, but it is still a beautiful ship.

We flew into San Juan on the day of the sailing and utilized Celebrity's air reservation system. The port is only a 15 minute cab ride from the airport.

Food - We ate our evening meal in the Main Dining room. The food was very good. There were reasonable choices each night. The lobster was sub-par and the desserts were just ok, but the atmosphere was wonderful. The waiter and assistant waiter were both very attentive. The Oceanview cafe has good food - a lot of variety. Nothing spectacular, but very solid.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 4

Cabin 04

Cabin - Our cabin was an outside cabin with a window. Of course, the room is small, but it was very nice. Our cabin steward was fantastic. We never lacked for anything and he responded to any requests very quickly. The bathroom is tiny and the shower curtain was moldy. The bathroom tile needs replacing.
