Before I go into the bad, let's do this sandwich style, like a formal review - good, bad, good.
Good - the entertainment! Dru Pavlov and his entire entertainment team were absolutely amazing and engaging and provided shows that were Broadway-quality. The shows were varied and there was something to do every night. There was also an amazing Teen Club program that had lots of fun activities, both in SeaPlex and in the "Teen Club."
Bad...Everything required a reservation. If you didn't have a reservation, you'd have to wait in line, sometimes for quite a while. Luckily we had reservations to all the shows, but we had to get to the shows at least 30 minutes ahead of time to get a seat. Not always a good seat, but a seat in general. To waste 30-60 minutes of your vacation time to wait is just unacceptable. If this is considered dynamic dining, and is meant to be a "smart" ship, it's def not that.
Cabins got much bigger than they were in the past, so that's a huge plus
We had some carry-on luggage and some larger luggage. We were told we can take all the luggage onto the ship ourselves, but when we went to actually register, we were then told we HAVE to check in large luggage. We had someone help us, and she told us that they lose luggage ALL the time. I almost fainted. Why would I then want to check it if they're going to lose it??? Luckily it wasn't lost. The disembarkation was actually much more organized and simple.
