Background Information: We were a group of 16 traveling from Ohio and North Carolina. Ages ranged from late 70s to 4 yrs. old. This was my fourth cruise (CCL and RCL) and first on NCL. We all traveled to Miami via air.

Hotel Info: Stayed the night before the cruise at the Hilton Miami Downtown. Found a good rate on easyclicktravel.com. The hotel was nice and the location was not bad. Short taxi ride from the airport and hotel provided port transfer for $6/person on the day of the cruise. There was a Burger King and Checkers across the street and the free Metrorail was a block away. We took the free train to Bayside Marketplace to do some quick shopping and a taxi from there to South Beach to eat and walk around.

Ship Info: The Dawn is a beautiful ship and is in great shape. We pretty much found our way around the ship after the first sea day (atleast the areas we were interested in).
