This was our 2nd cruise on the Jade but not as good as the first. Cabin steward for first couple of days was brilliant, but then he went home - next one was friendly and cleanliness overall was good, but other things were hit and miss - sometimes tea but no cups or cups and no tea for example !! The Garden restaurant had gone down hill, the food was not as good as before and the furnishings certainly need an upgrade. Cagneys was excellent also the Alizar. Martini and Mixers bar staff were superb but the smell of smoke from the Casino spoilt it and was unexceptable, one evening we left early because it was affecting my husbands Asthma. There was a sewer smell on deck 10 (where our cabin was) for several days - not nice. The final bill which arrived as we were leaving, so had no time to see anyone regarding a bill for the mini bar for $17 for a small packet of peanuts and a bottle of water which should have been $7 also not itemized so didn't know what else we had been charged for. Embarkation went smoothly, but Disembarkation was a joke, once off the ship and in the coach it was goodbye and dumped! At the airport we found our own way to check in but were told to go back outside for another two hours because we were too early.

Based on this cruise i would not recommend NCL i am sorry to say. Also we both came home with chest infections.

Cabin Review

Cabin Mid-ship balcony port side

Good size with very good bathroom. Balcony and seating good. Bed very comfortable.
