Our cruise started in Rio on March 7, 2015 and ended 3 weeks later in Miami, visiting Recife, Brazil before entering the Amazon for a week then out to the Caribbean ports of Barbados, Devils Island (part of French Guiana), Barbados, Puerto Rico and Nassau before ending in Miami on March 28.
Check-in was slow in Rio as they only allocated one window to the lower categories, while allocating three windows to the expensive staterooms--this was the first time in 12 cruises that I was disappointed with the check-in process.
However, once on the ship after an hour, we had our usual exceptional service that we have come to expect on Oceania cruises. The service was exceptional all the time; the room, albeit somewhat small, was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. However the TV was small and the channel selection was inadequate (I complain about this on the comment card after every cruise, but it hasn't changed over the years).
