Our family of 4 (two 8 yr old boys) have sailed RC a few times before and have always been delighted. To save up $ for vacation and look forward to it as the months wind down is always so exciting and bonds our family. From the moment we got on this ship, I've wanted to cry from all the stress, rudeness of crew and other passengers, ineptness of how the boat should function, etc. It has been such a let down and I am furious at RC for ruining our special family time. I can never get this back. It's the last day of our cruise and I am sitting in our room writing this while my kids are watching TV. Why? Because the kids club is closed (and even when they are open - good luck not having your kids trampled in the small room with 5x too many kids). There is no room at the pools because all the seats are miraculously taken at 6 in the morning by everyone saving seats by putting towels on them (even though there is a sign not to save). Any fun kid things on the daily agenda don't take place until after 10pm when my kids are sleeping. This boat is huge, there is seemingly fun things to do, but expect to wait in very long lines with other passengers that are just as pissed off as you are. The stress is everywhere and everyone is yelling at eachother - including the crew. Epic, epic fail RC. If you make a bigger boat, don't just quadruple the passengers, make sure the other areas (pool, kids club, etc) can handle the increase in passengers too. Wish real life had do-overs. Tough pill to swallow that we spent all this money for such an unfortunate experience. Do yourself a favor and skip this ship in favor for one of their other ships.
