First time with Norwegian cruise line. Had a fantastic cruise thanks to other travelers I met.

Took my book up to swimming pool for leisurely read but was driven back in doors because of cigarette smoke. Wanted to visit the INDOOR casino but cigarette smoke drove me away. Fancy smoking allowed inside the ship!!! Cabin steward was fantastic but service everywhere else very slow and nobody seemed to have any product knowledge, gave out wrong information and this is bad management. Food in some cases barely warm and never piping hot. Too long spent waiting for staff to take it to tables. The buffet area also suffered the not hot syndrome. WHY? A tonic water cost $2.66 but not in a bottle but one of those sprays under the bar. Gross ripoff! Excursions again you can do these for half the price. Not enough treadmills considering the large number of passengers. The staff were always pleasant and smiling which only masked the lack of training. Not their fault.
