We just got off the Indy last Sunday. The only thing really bad about the cruise was that we had to get off last Sunday!!

Maybe I am not picky as some people are, but the food was very good, the service was excellent both in the MDR and our room. Our room attendent Asop, was excellent. He brought us ice twice a day and our room was spotless. At dinner the first night, I asked for shrimp cocktail like on previous cruises but they didnt have it. The next night and every night after that, we got shrimp cocktail without asking! The three shows we saw were very entertaining, and the ice show was really amazing.

The two downsides that stick out for me were Johnny Rockets and the Dancing under the stars. We ended up spending over $20 at JR with the cover charge, milkshake and a soda, all extra. When we saw "Dancing under the Stars" on te compass after dinner on formal night, I had the idea that I could take my wife up to the deck and enjoy a couple romantic dances with her in our formal wear. Instead, it was more like an aerobics session with all teens and 20 somethings dancing to loud fast music. Definately a cross in understanding.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

The cabin was very nice. We really enjoy balcony cabins. Plenty of room, and storage room. Enoyed the fact that the shower had doors, instead of curtains. We had three couples beside each other and we were able to open the dividers between the balconys to make a large balcony. Very nice!

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Best day of all. We took the water taxi to Front Street. We rented lounge chairs and umbrellas and then went shopping. After walking down Front Street, we stopped at several bars for a bucket of beers and ended up back at our chairs on the beach. A beautiful beach!!

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Computer problem caused a 2 hour delay on boarding. Then the non priority passengers were very slow to be able to get on board.

San Juan

We enjoyed walking around Old San Juan. It was much nicer than we expected. Lots of tourist shops and also interesting forts to see. We stopped at Old Harbor brewery for lunch and some local beer. A nice time.

Labadee

We were not impressed with Labadee. Another ship arrived an hour ahead of us and got most of the good seating areas. We were lucky to find some shady area. It just didn't seem like a very relaxing day on the beach. The water around Adreniline was very rocky and hard to enjoy. The lines were very long for lunch with two ships there. All the activities were too expensive for what you got in my opinion.
