Norwegian Jade is a terrible ship. Food was awful. Too many tables for two in the dining room (Alizar) Not able to mix with other passengers at a bigger table. The other dining room was so noisy we could't hear ourselves speak. We only ate in there once. The good things were the entertainment and the efficiency of our cabin steward. Two special people in the Alizarin were waiter Juby and helper Ann. I like to eat lunch in a dining room but could not. It was closed. Buffet in Garden Cafe was terrible. The food, the people who were rude (passengers) and the way they were dressed was disgusting. There is a difference between casual and downright slovenly.

I unfortunately had to spend five hours in Barcelona hospital. Had to take a taxi back to the ship, which we nearly missed, and it showed 21.45 euros on the meter. On my ship's account I was charged 39.00 euros. I was ripped off. No explanation as to what the extra charge was. No-one seemed to care that we were off the ship even though I was transported by ambulance by order of the ship,s doctor. Medical care was good. Went to hospital because I had a Virus and so did my friend who travelled with me. Try not to have to spend time in a Spanish hospital. I was there for five hours and in all that time they could not get in touch with my insurance company. Had to pay up front $ & euros 4500.00 before I could leave the hospital. I don' think they made much of an effort to speak to my insurance nce company.

I also do not agree with not being able to bring wine on board. If you are going to do this bring your liquor prices down on the ship. We are able to bring a bottle of wine to a hotel room. Why not a ship? It is an infringement of my rights.
