We just returned from our sixth Norwegian Cruise. Two on the Pearl, Two on the Sun, one each on the Spirit and Sky. After taking cruises one four other lines we decided that the Norwegian is for us. When they say free style they mean it. First of all you dine when you want to and don't have to select an early or late dining time and sit with the same eight or ten people every night. On the Norwegian there are two main dining rooms that are complementary and several premium restaurant that you pay a small cover charge. The menu was always great with several choices each night just like going to restaurants for every meal.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They made you feel special and not try to fit you into a rigid agenda. There are two pools with entertainment every day and a vast amount of other activities onboard as well as a good choice of excursions to choose from that has something or everyone and appealing to people of all ages. We made friends with several people and were constantly doing something with them. As far as we are concerned Norwegian is our cruise line and I can't wait for our fall foliage cruise. Our embarkation was very easy and disembarkation very organized and quick.
Our cabin was a little smaller than we would prefer. It was a little tight getting around the desk on one side. Other than that it was good. The bed was comfortable and there was more than enough storage room.
