The Pearl is not one of the newest ships. It was refurbished in 2013. The cabins were adequate (we had a an outside large window). The dining rooms were good (we loved the Summer Palace(we did not have to pay extra for it) and we never had to wait more than 2 minutes to be seated. We also ate in the Indigo (we had to wait 15 mins. to be seated, but they gave us a free drink while we waited), The Moderno restaurant ($20 charge per person) was a great restaurant serving all different types of meat (worth the money.

The Sugar Cane Bar served the best Mojitos we have taste (and we are Cubans!).

The entertainment was very varied. There were always shows in the Sunburst theater (music, comedians, ventriloquists, dancing) in the bar/lounges there was always different types of musician/comics playing the piano-singing, electric guitars, or a group called Avalon that sang a variety of musig.
