This cruise was amongst the best that we have been on.
P&O have obviously listened to previous feedback as the service was, as ever, excellent, but the meals in the main dining room (Ligurian) were constantly better than excellent. There was great variety and everything was perfectly cooked and presented. The request for a table for 2 was always accommodated having been given a "paging" handset. The new menus were also an improvement as they have a traditional offer for each course that stays the same for the whole cruise displayed on the left hand side, accompanied by a changing daily menu on the right.
The guest entertainers were particularly good, although there was very little from the Headliners, and the Entertainment Director brought very little to the table.
There is absolutely nothing of historical interest in this place. Unless you are interested in shopping, watching moored yachts, or looking at hotels / casinos, then you will be disappointed. Should be dropped as a port of call. Very disappointing.
