I had not been on a cruise in years, and the thought of sailing out of Houston, away from the masses in Florida was very appealing to me.

But I guess embarkation day, no matter where you depart from, is always going to be somewhat chaotic, and this was no exception. I do give Princess credit for being organized about it all. That day was stressful because of the hoards of people everywhere. Initially, being honest, I thought it was horrible.

But then as time went on and as people dispersed to places all over the ship, I enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed it when we were in ports and everyone got off. I stayed on and it was so nice a peaceful.
