Simple Luxury Cruising, those three words sums it all up when you take a Viking cruise. As you step into the ship on your first day, the pampering begins.

I cruised with them on the Danube and the Bordeaux river, and planning on a third one this year. I would like to steal a line on one of my fellow cruise guest "I felt a little homesick with Viking, I booked myself another cruise" and I do agree. The staff becomes your family along with your fellow cruise guests.

The ship itself is simple in design. I love their Aquavit lounge, which features a glass covered dining/lounging area. The cabins are comfortable, and you are provided with the essentials such as bottled water everyday, L'occitaine toiletries provided, goosedown beddings, and biggest plus of all is you don't need adapters for your electronic devices.

Cabin Review

Cabin French Balcony C

Each category of cabins suits to what you need. I opted for a French balcony instead of a veranda because I just need a full view not necessarily sit out on a veranda. Comfortable beddings, toiletries are of high quality, fresh bottle of water daily, a nice size closet with a safe for your valuables. Beds are turned down in the evening and some little surprises occasionally!
