This was our first NCL cruise (previously cruised with RCI and Azamara) and we really enjoyed this relaxed style of cruising. We went with an open mind and always enjoy cruising no matter what which we believe is a good way to start to any holiday.
We took the train from Seville to Barcelona and stayed in the Barcelo Sants Hotel for convenience as it is just behind the station and you can take the metro into the city centre. Lots of bars in this location and we used +KTapes across the road from the hotel for dinner and breakfast which was of good quality at reasonable cost.
Took a taxi from the station to the port at a cost of 18 euros. Beware when you arrive at the port of the porters who will meet the taxi and wheel your cases 50 yds to the luggage check-in and want a tip. If you have lots of cases it is worth it otherwise just carry them yourself.
Our cabin was small but with storage space under the bed for cases. Also plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Bathroom was a bit tight but manageable. We asked for the bed to be split which was a good decision as it made far more room to move around. We were very happy with the accommodation.
