Cruise went from New York to Cape Canaveral, then to Great Stirrup Cay and then to Nasssau. Unless you booked an excursion in Cape Canaveral, really nothing to do there. At Great Stirrup Cay, it was a good thing we read the reviews first because you definately need water shoes. Going into the water is all rocks. Saw a lot a people having a hard time going in and out of water because of the rocks. Found they did not have enough clam shells to rent and they didn't even have enough beach lounge chairs for everyone. It took my husband and I at least 1/2 hour or more to find one chair that someone wasn't using. If it is Norwegian's private island and they know how many people their ship can hold, you would think they would have enough chairs at the beach for everyone. Buffet at beach was okay but drinks were expensive. Nassau was the best. Did the Seahorse Sailing/Snorkeling excursion and it was very nice. Crew members on the excursion were very accommodating. Shopping in Nassau was very good also. A lot of hand made items from islanders and prices were decent. My husband and I found the crew on the Breakaway were not as friendly as the crew on Norwegian's Gem. Came across some friendly staff but not a lot. Even our room steward was not really friendly. Seemed as if we were bothering them to even say "good morning" or to smile. I found the DJ from Mexico (name was Jesy) was very rude and not friendly at all unless he was in the spotlight. He ran karaoke one night and it was as if it was a bother for him to even be there. I also ran into him at Bingo and had a question to ask and again, felt like it was an inconvenience for him to even answer my question. Next night he was introduced as a judge in one of the contests they had and it seemed like because he was in the spotlight all of a sudden he was happy and smiling. Found that they did not have a lot of activities for "adults only". Because it was Spring break there were a lot of little kids (I mean wall to wall) on the ship and that is fine but it would have been nice to have some activities for the adults without the kids. Kids were allowed almost everywhere. I was very happy that they did enforce the "adults only" pool. Anytime a child started going into the adults only pool they were told they had to leave and go over to the kids pool. Food was great in specialty restaurants (i.e. Cagneys, Moderno and LaCucacino. Our last night we went back to Cagneys to celebrate our anniversary and our waitress (can't remember her name) was very sweet and very accommodating. Made our anniversary celebration very nice. Mini-suite we stayed in was good - bathroom was big with double sink, but shower had six extra massaging jets and found only the bottom four worked - top two did not work. Entertainment was good - shows were excellent and contests they held for passengers were also good. This time we decided to try the easy walk off for disembarkment (you carry all your luggage off the ship yourself). We thought it was great to be able to walk off the ship early in the morning without having to wait in the lobby of the ship with wall to wall people. We were off the ship by 8:00 a.m. and we were home by 9:30 a.m. (we live in Connecticut). Would do the easy walk off again. Overall, very disappointed with the first two stops (Cape Canaveral and Great Stirrup Cay) and very disappointed with the majority of unfriendly staff. Don't think I would take this cruise again.

Cabin was very nice - bathroom was really good size. Not all jets worked in shower.
