We have taken many Celebrity cruises, favorite ship, was the Galaxy, now gone. Silhouette was nice, just nice. Food was good in dining room - servers were attentive and rooms were nothing to write home about.
Here's what I did not like. Pool does not have enough servers, small area, tight with lots of chairs. If you save a seat and walk away, the security take your belongings and give them to guest relations. You cannot be gonelonger than 1/2 hour - resulting in losingyour seat, even if you are in the pool.
Martini bar has DJ - they have small alcove rooms to sit in, but on some nights you are told to leave the room, so two dancers pull down a sheet, and proceed to dance in shadow form, appearing to wear nothing and it becomes a strip club atmosphere... young teens on board came to dance and it resulted in the young boys trying to the curtain and drunk men from the bar did the same... Officer did nothing to stop the dancers..Celebrity standard has fallen.
standard size, awkward storage, had to stand on bed to reach above bed storage
bathroom is nice and larger, but now room looses space and storage is jeoparized, only storage for two.
stayed at the Doubletree Suites - excellent location and beach access about two blocks down
Galleria right next store and lot of restaurants
had a suite - two bedroom - well styled and stocked
walked the cobblestone streets right across from ship
had a excellent mojito at a great bar
good shopping
nice people- no problem following walking map
