First, I must begin by saying that I like the newer and larger ships because the entertainment and restaurants have much more to offer. I absolutely love the Oasis and Allure The entertainment/shows on the Grandeur were mediocre and there were way too many comedians shows.
The food was nothing special and on several occasions was barely warm (the first two days). I did not like when we had breakfast in the main dining room and the server suggested we could get our own food from the small buffet set up in the center of the dining room. I like being served breakfast and dinner.
The lobster on the last night was very very small and if I had known, I would have asked for two servings.
Bed was too low which made it impossible to place luggage under bed.
We did not take an excursion because we live in Baltimore. Baltimore has much to offer tourists. It is America in miniature. Mountains, oceans, being city, small neighborhoods.
We have been to Cozumel on several occasions, It is very clean and has no poor areas. You do not have to be afraid to tour this island. Love Cozumel.
Since we had been to Falmouth on several occasions, we got off the ship and walked around and shopped a little. We checked our wifi and relaxed and had a drink.
Labadee is a nice little island and it is worth seeing and seeing it and having lunch. There have a small zip line which would be okay for inexperienced zip-liners.
