First and foremost, this was my 9th cruise, 2nd on Liberty of the Seas...I think people should know that upfront because first timers tend to give a different view....

Liberty of the Seas is huge. Lots of walking and its a beautiful ship. I traveled with my wife and kids (ages 4 and 7 both prior cruisers) as well as my parents. The royal promenade makes the ship different than most. It changes the scenery to make you forget you're even on a ship. There are little cafe's and pizza places, as well as shopping areas and it resembles a city street, very cool.

Sea days are crowded by the pools. This is the case with most Caribbean cruises, but its a huge ship with a giant water park for kids conveniently located next to a soft serve ice cream machine.
