First and foremost, this was my 9th cruise, 2nd on Liberty of the Seas...I think people should know that upfront because first timers tend to give a different view....

Liberty of the Seas is huge. Lots of walking and its a beautiful ship. I traveled with my wife and kids (ages 4 and 7 both prior cruisers) as well as my parents. The royal promenade makes the ship different than most. It changes the scenery to make you forget you're even on a ship. There are little cafe's and pizza places, as well as shopping areas and it resembles a city street, very cool.

Sea days are crowded by the pools. This is the case with most Caribbean cruises, but its a huge ship with a giant water park for kids conveniently located next to a soft serve ice cream machine. The solarium is an adult area which has its own bar as well as two giant hot tubs that hang over the side of the ship.
