The ship itself is fine, no complaints. Our room was super nice! The dining rooms, exercise room, all of that was perfectly fine too. The pool was small and not kid-friendly, but we knew that going into the cruise, so that was fine too. What was extremely frustrating was the overall lack of quality and variety of the food options, as well as the crew. The crew never smiled, certainly seemed more annoyed that you were asking them to bring you water/tea at dinner than one would have anticipated. Dining in the main dining rooms, no matter which meal, was frustrating. The wait staff seemed annoyed you were there to dine. The food literally never changed (I have photos to prove), and the dining rooms seemed to never be open either. If you were trying to eat lunch, especially, anytime other than "normal" dining times, you would find every dining option was closed except for the Garden area. That was annoying. Other cruises we've been on were not like that. There certainly was quantity, but the quality was severely lacking. I'm a HUGE dessert person, and usually cruises have the BEST desserts! On this cruise, not the case. The ice cream from the ice cream station was the only dessert even edible on this boat. I really hope that other NCL boats have more enthusiastic and accommodating crew and quality of food, and maybe we just had bad luck on this cruise? Otherwise, there is no way we will ever cruise on NCL again, if this was a taste of how this cruise line operates. Other cruises, in the main dining, there was dancing, singing, etc by the wait staff. This cruise, only VERY slow service and snarls from the crew (took a min of 1.5 hrs to eat any meal in the dining room). Kids club seemed nice, we only sent our kids for one day and they enjoyed it.
The cabin was excellent, very large which was nice. The bathroom was amazing, huge area for closet, and had a full bathtub/shower (perfect for small kids).
