Sail Date: Mar 2015
Cabin: Balcony (obstructed views)

This was our fifth time on the Pride and was grateful for the changes from the "same old thing".

Embarkation in Tampa was a breeze! Many folks ignore recommendations and insist on arriving at the pier at 930-10am and then get annoyed when they have to wait to board. We arrived around 1230pm and was on the ship within 25-30 minutes. We walked right on after getting our s&s cards....no line whatsoever.

Ship: Loved the new upgrades. Some areas of the ship still really need to be repaired/painted but the 2.0 ares looked amazing. New areas definitely looked a lot more classy/polished than the old parts of the ship.

Cabin Review

Balcony (obstructed views)

Cabin 7A

obstructed balcony.

A/C temps were high and low, fan was very loud and would not shut off/down.

Noise coming from lifeboats (something rattling in the wind) making balcony enjoyment difficult at times.

Smoke could be smelled from deck 3 outside of dining room area (at times, not constant). We slept with door open one night to warm up the cabin and awoke to cigarette smoke.

Will spend the extra cash and book a regular balcony, higher up next time.
