So a group of 10 of us booked our vacation to take the breakaway from NYC. Overall the ship was nice the destinations were good especially the private island. The ship did have lots of good events and food to offer and the drinks were with quality liquor. Now the downside, all of us booked within a week and each one of us got a different deal and all of us were lied to at least once by the NCL sales staff. They said my gf who was 23 could get the adult drinking package because I was over 25 when I booked. Then when I asked for the full itinerary 3 weeks later because the one they give you initially is fairly vague it showed she didn't have it and it showed I didn't pay for the gratuities (even though they also said it was included in the deal.) all in all 8-9 hours later of calling and waiting I got a 200$ on board credit and an upgraded balcony to a mini-suite. 200$ won't get you far if you drink at 8$ a drink an extra 84$ per person in gratuities and the mini-suite is no different then a balcony I already had paid for.... Not impressed there. Would try a different cruise line before ncl again. Also the 3 free fancy dining restaurants all served the same food. The Brazilian steakhouse was the worst one i have have been to yet. Do hit the uptown grill burger though. That burger was amazing. Getting an ironing board was a nightmare and they pick some terrible times to make morning announcements. Also the gym is packed early and late at night. In the weights area you pretty much walk over each other.

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

The room was nice and wasn't too small. Lots of storage and shelves. Bathrooms could use a fan.
