We found it hard to fault anything on this Pacific cruise. Our second trip on the Solstice did not disappoint us and the Aqua class was similar to our previous cruise to Tahiti and Hawaii except there were extras such as free bottled water, lemon tea and canapes every day. Also the shower had extra jets in the wall for full body wash. The cabin as with other rooms was large and roomy and the steward looked after us really well without being intrusive.

The ship was extremely clean including the public toilets with automatic doors and taps so you did not have to touch anything. There are many public places to have a rest from the noisy poolside including beautiful lounges beautiful lounges.

Dining in the Blu restaurant was excellent with the waiters knowing your preferences and providing outstanding service. The large restaurant was as on our previous cruises good whilst the buffet tended to be crowded and we tended to stay away from it. The specialty restaurants ( at extra cost) were very good although the French Morano was a little disappointing when we compared it to our previous cruise. The quality of the food was slightly down and little touches such as ladies playing violins ,were missing. Some of the wine waiters around the ship were somewhat aloof although ours, named Denis, was wonderful.
