This was our very first cruise. In fact we never really had ever had a desire to go on a cruise. But since our anniversary falls around Spring Break, we chose this option vs. our usual AI in Mexico based on price. We were happily surprised that we might actually enjoy this type of vacation again in the future.

We knew ZERO about cruising before we booked, and only had about 6 weeks to get educated in the forums about what to expect. We felt that practically everything went better than expected. Definitely glad we did our homework as it made for a stress-free trip. We also had found a facebook group of fellow travelers for this cruise prior to this and they were quite helpful as well.

We were pleasantly surprised with our cabin. Our TA had recommended this deck and room type, and we were glad we went with her suggestion. I was slightly apprehensive about booking an interior room after reading other reviews, however, I actually was just fine with it. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I slept well from the very first night. We were really pleased with the amount of storage we had. I was afraid I had over packed, but was happy with the amount of space in the three closets and the drawers. The shelving in the bathroom was also quite adequate for the many toiletries we brought. I had purchased an over the door shoe hanger prior to the cruise, but was able to return it as we never needed it. The lighting was just fine...I normally apply makeup with natural light but did not miss the window one bit. We slept soundly in the dark room. My only complaints would be that there is really not much room to walk around at all. Thankfully you can stow your luggage under the beds. Also, the shower curtain was a bit too short so water escaped the shower quite a bit no matter how careful we tried to be. We really liked the location of this cabin. The passageway on Deck 10 Panorama is quite short and so the traffic is minimal. The area was quiet and yet so convenient for getting right to the Lido Deck 9. Our cabin was always well maintained by Muhammed.
