Travelling from Australia and spending time in New Orleans we were excited to be boarding Norwegian Dawn. We are experienced cruisers with Princess and Royal Caribbean, so we took a gamble as we wanted to visit the destinations offered. In short we were disappointed with not having bedside tables on either side. Only one noisy main swimming pool, and not enough quiet areas inside. We found the food very average, mostly too salty and sweet for our palette. However it was the best coffee from the coffee shop we have had on any cruise.

The cabin steward and staff on board were great, no problems there.

So nearly one week after getting off the ship we find, plus friends travelling with us, have had significant cash taken out of our accounts, without our authorisation. Being Easter we cannot transfer funds as banks are closed and so we are stuck. Spoken to NCL and apparently it common practice. What a nice nest egg, over 2000 people all having at least $800 kept from them and earning NCL interest. My advice, FIND ANOTHER CRUISE LINE.
