I did a lot of research leading up to our cruise which was a 5 day Western Caribbean on Liberty of the Seas. I read many reviews and prior to our leaving, was just unsure what I was going to find once we boarded.

Frankly, this cruise was fantastic and I enjoyed the heck out of my vacation. Boarding was pretty clean and easy and we even had a hiccup we had to address when we showed up. We arrived right at about 12 noon and from start of finish we were on board the ship within 30 minutes easy.

Hit windjammers for lunch, was busy that day but duh..Here's where one of the concerns came, so many people complained about Windjammers and food choice/quality. Okay, I'm lost, the choices were numerous as there are several food buffet stations with different options all accessible to choose. In terms of the quality, this where I think people expect to receive 5 star for free, it's a all you can eat buffet style setting. It's buffet folks, it's not going to taste like a 5 star restaurant. It was good, some better than other choices, but again remember that it's a buffet and it is what it is so have real expectations and you won't be "disappointed" with it. Read more
