We were apprehensive because we really like meeting new people at our usual dining room set schedule, but we enjoyed going to the different restaurants and trying the different cuisines. Our favorite restaurant was the steak house. Didn't like the Japanese style cooking table restaurant that much, but it was OK. Our room was very small, but clean. It was #11649, and was at the very back of the ship on a corner. We couldn't get our suitcases in the closet, so they had to sit in the cabin, and take up living space. We ate most breakfasts in the Garden Cafe, and it was mostly very good. We did eat a few lunches there as well. The ship was wonderful, the crew was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to try the spa services, but they were so expensive we decided not to go there. I thought the excursions offered were OK, but more expensive than say Carnival Excursions. We have had better excursions on other cruise ships. We had a really bad excursion in Belize because the water was really choppy and the current was really strong. It would have been helpful if they had offered snorkels and fins, but they only had masks to see the sharks and stingrays. The shows every evening were the highlight of the cruise. The performers were totally awesome, especially Duo Deja Vue, and David Naster, the comedian. We enjoyed all the shows very much. Disembarkation was pretty easy on this ship, and at this port. Quick and no problems at all. We will go on Norwegian again! Soon, I hope!

Cabin Review

Very small, our bags wouldn't fit into the closet, so we had to leave them on the floor or on a chair, which took up living space. This was the smallest room we have ever had on a ship. It was clean and comfortable though.

Port Reviews

Houston

We did like the Baytown Port, it was convenient and embarkation was easy and fairly quick. The parking was more than we normally pay, but the convenience was worth it.
