Been on several cruise lines. Carnival has been the worst. Disembarkations were confusing and disorganized.Getting out of the Charleston Port is an ordeal in it self (going and return). Food on the ship was terrible. Same food was in all the dinning areas. Worst coffee. Any information being given on the speaker system was too loud and individuals giving information was not understandable. That is None spoke English clearly. Entertainment was mediocre. Teenagers were aloud to roam the halls at night talking loud and running through the hallways. Itinerary was not all that good. Three stops only and had to be shuttled to one island, Half-Moon Cay. Nothing was at this Island. Ship information was very poor. No announcements were made about arrival times on locations. No announcements were made that some information would be found in write-ups about next day events. As previous mentioned any announcements made were loud and inaudible. Services, other than cabin attendants, were poor.
Cabin was OK. Curtains need to be replaced. Cabin attendant made the stay more enjoyable.
It is a maze full of barriers. Must be shuttled, with luggage, to ship by buses. Lot of confusion as to procedures to gain entrance to ship. This is not know until arrival.
Nothing there but jewelry shops. One eating facility. There were some excursions offered but we did not participate in any offered. Did learn that John Glenn return to earth from space and landed in the waters of shore.
This the private island owned by Carnival. There is nothing there but a beach. The beach in it self was good if you wanted to lie in the sun. As far as I know this island is uninhabited.
Used a local taxi for an excursion around the city. This lasted approximately two hours. Nothing outstanding about the tour. Stopped at Wendy's for a burger and Frosty. Taste was same as in the U.S.
