First let me start by saying I LOVE Carnival, and this is the first time in many, many cruises that I have ever had a problem. The cruise itself was fine, The ports were great, the ship I wasn't crazy about. The ship was clean, and the staff was great but the layout was different and it was crowded up on deck. The slides, rope course and waterworks were great and we all had a lot of fun there. We did not go swimming in the pools just due to it being so crowded.

The downfall to this cruise was that we had ongoing plumbing issues in our cabin and due to the cruise being sold out, we could not relocate to another cabin. Our toilet would stop flushing and we had to have maintenance come to our cabin approximately 7 times during the 8 day cruise. It was a headache at times due to having to go down a couple of floors to find a restroom that we could use until ours started working again. Carnival did give us a on board credit and then a future on board credit due to our inconvenience. We were happy with that and can't wait until our next cruise with Carnival, but it wont be on the Sunshine.
