Sail Date: Jan 2015

A year ago, my sister and I sailed on The Sun embarking in Miami. In spite of a relatively bad experience with the luggage handler when embarking on the Sun, we had a very good time. There was plenty for us to do on ship, the food was good and we were pleasantly surprised by the size and layout of our Mini-Suite room and balcony.

Because we had a good experience, we decided to try Norwegian again, this time on the Breakaway, sailing from New York. It turned out to be a big mistake from beginning to end. It is difficult to believe that the Sun and Breakaway are part of the same cruise line. The experiences are at different ends of the spectrum. We’ve traveled on other cruise lines, especially Oceania (a member of the Norwegian family) and you always know the experience you are going to get.
