Cabin: Large Balcony

My wife and I recently completed the 7 night around the Islands cruise. We have lived on Oahu for the past 36 years but we experienced an entirely new perspective of our Island home.

NCL/Pride of America really has the organizational aspects down. (Carol and I are recently retired school administrators and we are very aware of the complexity of the details involved in making a large organization operate smoothly. These folks get it. From check-in to final embarkation, everything was smooth and well managed.

The cruise itself was flawless. I also had read some negative reviews; mostly from a few years ago. I have to say that the Staff made it all come together. They were wonderful. Our cabin steward must work 20 hours per day. He was always there and took care of every need.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

The cabin was a marvelous use of limited space. It was clean, neat, and well appointed with wood accents and lovely island art. Because it's on a ship, my wife and I had to do the "cabin dance" on occasion. This led to some much needed intimacy. The balcony is a must! the views from the balcony are incomparable and it enhanced a feeling of space and tranquility. Sailing into Hilo Bay in the early morning, I was sitting on the balcony watching a mother and calf humpback breach and play as the sun came up.
