We had heard so many negative things about the Quantum of the Seas before we left for our cruise, so we went on the cruise with an open mind and anticipating a good cruise. We were NOT disappointed! Quantum is a beautiful ship and very easy to navigate around the ship.

We enjoyed dining in the different restaurants each night and found the food good in most cases. There was something on the menu for everyone's taste. We had excellent service and never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seated. We also dined at two specialty restaurants: Jamie's Italian and Chops. Both were excellent!

Mama Mia was fantastic! I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this production. The Guest Entertainers were just okay with the exception of Finis Henderson who was top notch. Starwater was okay just not our type of entertainment. The Two70 is amazing and we enjoyed the robot shows. Sonic Odyssey was well done.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Obstructed Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin DO

We were a little leery of our cabin since it had an obstructed view. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to see that our cabin had an excellent view and we would not have considered it an obstructed view at all. It was the very last cabin on the forward end of the ship. The deck was made like a very large port hole with nice privacy.

The bathroom was great, and the shower was larger than on most of the other ships of the same category. Storage, storage, storage...I cannot say enough about have amazing the amount of storage we had on this ship. Wow!

Port Reviews

Labadee

We have been to this port many times, and usually get off the ship. On this trip, we did not get off the ship at this port, but we did go up on the NorthStar. The views were amazing, and the arm of the NorthStar is able to swing out at this port.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

We did not take an excursion at this port, but we enjoyed sailing away in a snow storm. The deck was amazing with several inches of snow of the lounge chairs.

San Juan

We have been to this port many times and chose not to leave the ship. We enjoyed a day in the Solarium and Fitness Center without the crowds. We enjoyed a leisure day for sunning and reading.

St. Maarten

We love this port. Even though we did not do an excursion, I did get off the ship and walked around the port area for awhile taking pictures and buying t-shirts, etc.
