This was our first cruise..and what a fantastic time we had. I thought the Celebrity Summit was a very nice ship and was impressed with the majority of staff on board. We traveled AQ and had a very nice room that was taken care of by the most wonderful steward, Maria. She made us towel animals each and every night of our cruise and kept our room in tip top shape.

We had dining in BLU as we were sailing AQ and found the food to be delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed our waiters Rambo and Jose and our sommelier Onur. We were very unimpressed with the maitre d, Shah. We found him to be very rude and condescending. If it wasn't for the wonderful wait staff he would have put a damper on dining experience aboard the Summit. He was the only employee we encounter on the ship that gave us a negative vibe. So enough of Shah.

We enjoyed the entertainment on the ship. We loved the I Magic show as well as the comedian. We watched a great staff vs. guest water volleyball tournament and thought it was great the captain of the ship participated. We participated in a few trivia contest and had a great time. The other guests on board were friendly and I actually made a few new friends that I look forward to traveling with in the future.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

We really liked our cabin - it was stocked with many amenities and had plenty of storage space. We had a fabulous steward who kept the room in tip top shape. We really enjoyed having a balcony.

Port Reviews

San Juan

We enjoyed lots of local food and stayed in quaint hotel called the Hotel Casablanca.

The forts were phenomenal and the people so friendly and helpful

St. Croix

We really enjoyed St. Croix. We hired a taxi that took us to the Cruzan Rum Factory where we had an awesome hand-ons tour of the operation and also got a couple of free cocktails to boot. We then spent the afternoon at Rainbow Beach which was a great experience.

Grenada

We had a lovely day in Grenada. We took a water taxi from the port to Grand Anise beach where we enjoyed a great morning. We also took a walk to the small spice market near Grand Anise where we purchased fresh spices and items.

St. Thomas

Spent a portion of the morning shopping and then had a taxi take us to Morning Star Beach where we enjoyed out last day in the Caribbean waters. The beach was great and they had a nice beach bar with clean bathrooms available.
