We just returned from our 7 nights on the Adventure of the Seas. The ship was clean, the Solarium was beautiful. The staff and entertainment, good. The food was good, smaller portions which worked out well (I tend to eat whatever is in front of me). In St. Thomas we went to Sapphire Beach, beautiful. In St. Kitts we had a fabulous time at Cockleshell Beach (Debbie's place). She's very friendly and accommodating. The beach & drive to beach were spectacular! In Aruba we went to Palm beach, it was nice. Curacao is so beautiful we just walked around the town and took in the beauty. Getting on and off the were easy, very organized.

One of my favorite things about a cruise is when I come to my room at night there is an animal made out of towels. I was really disappointed this time, I only had an animal 3 nights. I know it's a small thing, but sometimes is the small things that make a difference.

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Our group took a cab to Cockleshell Beach. Debbie's place at the beach is Awesome!!! She has lounge chairs in the shade if needed. She gave us a deal of $4/chair. Debbie is so sweet and friendly. She gave us all kind of information about the island. I would definitely return.

San Juan

We arrived in San Juan pre-cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Casablanca in Old San Juan, very cool place. Old San Juan was beautiful!!! We walked around the town. Walk to the forts and walked the wall.

St. Thomas

We were traveling with 4 other couples, late 40's-60's, there were 10 of us total. We caught a cab at the pier and spent the day at Sapphire Beach. It is a beautiful beach. They have chairs to rent if needed.

Aruba

Our group went to Palm beach. We caught a cab out front, $14/cab. This was another beautiful beach. A little more commercial than the ones we went to on the other islands, but still beautiful. They also have chairs & umbrellas for rent.

Curacao

This time we did not go to the beach. We spent the day walking around the town. We walked up to the Floating Market, all around the town. We browsed through the shops and artisan booths. Best of all, nobody pressured you to buy anything. They let you browse and walk away.
