I was not at all impressed with Royal Caribbean. Although, the STAFF (except for bar staff) was EXCEPTIONAL. I had a bar supervisor...white shirt and all...give me a MAJOR attitude for asking for a diet coke in the windjammer on my pre-paid drink package. Our cabin steward Mickey...was AMAZING. Each day he made sure our cabin was in its best shape! Our dining staff Kumar and Kimi were very attentive, and always will to go the extra mile for anyone at our table that needed a little extra attention. (We sat with a Vietnam war vet that spoke very little english) but he was apparently a diamond club member and was well known by ALL the staff throughout the ship, even though he may not have known how to ask for what he wanted...they all seemed to know.
The food in the windjammer needs a facelift...there was not a whole lot of variety. The Yogurt shop needs to be open more than just a few hours a day...(I guess what they are trying to do is get you to go to Ben and Jerrys to PAY for ice cream). Johnny Rockets on the ship is NOTHING like a Johnny Rockets restaurant...the burgers were FATTY and GREASY. The Ranch dressing tastes like mayonaisse.
Also, Public restrooms (at least the womens) wreaked of urine.
Our Steward was AMAZING. Room was clean and always well kept.
St. Thomas was a pretty island. We shopped and walked around. We took a ferry ride to St. John. I hate that you make me enter 150 characters. I don't always need that many to get the point across
