Introduction

First, prior to this trip, we had not been on an NCL cruise since cruising on the Norway back in '92 so we had never experienced Freestyle Cruising. Second, we had only been on what we'd refer to as "Fun in the Sun" cruises to Bermuda and the Caribbean rather than a true "Destination" cruise such as this one. Finally, we had never been on a cruise of more than 7 days. So, there was a lot "new" to us with this trip and we approached it with a very positive attitude, albeit with a few concerns based on the aforementioned.
