Traveled with my wife and 20 y/o son, this was our second cruise, both with Carnival

After completing all documents online & printing our Fun Pass at home, arrived at Port of Miami at 11:45am, boarding was in progress and was on ship by 12:20pm. Very smooth and effortless boarding process, all our luggage was carry/on so this sped up the process, as well as the line for our cabin number only had 3 people ahead of us. According to cruise line, boarding would not commence until 12:30pm, but the boards & reviews on CC were right on the money. (arrive early, board early)

The ships exterior looked great, did not see any of the rust mentioned in other recent reviews.

Cabin Review

Cabin 4A

When engine at full speed to Grand Turk (1 nite only), very noisy and had to quiet some of the furniture with towels, otherwise perfect, the complete darkness of inside cabin makes for GREAT sleep. For 3 of us, had enough closet space and was able to have continental breakfast inside on sevral mornings. Absolutely no noise from dinning room above, or any of the other lounges. Laundrete very close which came in handy. As I've read the Carnival Destiny has cabins larger than the industry standard since its an older ship.
