Carnival Pride Mexican Riviera November 2, 2008

We are in our early 40's, not married and have no kids. We have been on 20 previous cruises most of which were to the Caribbean; 7 RCCL, 4 NCL, 3 Princess, 5 Carnival and 1 Celebrity. Please keep in mind this is my opinion based on my experience.

Like most of the cruises we take we chose this cruise based on a combination of the ship and itinerary. Having cruised the Carnival Spirit once and the Carnival Miracle twice before we were familiar with the ship layout. I really like this size of ship, not too big and not too small. The itinerary was entirely new for us and it was also my first time to California. This was also our first experience as part of a group cruise. Since we enjoy Walt Disney World in Florida so much we decided to fly to California a couple days early and check out Disneyland.
