Embarkation on Sunday, November 16. We drove from Central Florida in our new Accord, took about 3.5 hours. Light traffic and arrived around Noon and literally walked on tho the ship. We were not yet in the "platinum" status until the end of this cruise, but the "blue/gold" line moved very quickly. We did however witness stellar treatment of the Platinum/Elite members and can't wait to be treated similarly next cruise!!

We were literally in our cabin 35 minutes after arriving at the port garage, with a "welcome back" from virtually every one of the ship's staff!! The following is my ratings and short notes to each:

Food: 8.5 out of 10 - Crown Grill is a must go. Sabatini's is also a definite, but we ate there on the Grand Princess last year. Lobster and shrimp was a nice touch a couple times. Special note: ask for Jimmy in the Michelangelo room, he is the best waiter we have ever had on a Princess cruise.

Wish there ws a volume control on the in-room speaker. Announcements at 7:00 A.M. are a little ridiculous at that volume, and could be made at a quarter the volume. Robes are always a welcome touch.
