We had a blast on this cruise and would definitely do it again in the future. We were terrified that Hurricane Paloma would ruin it, but it wasn't really a problem. This is my 3rd cruise and my hubby's 2nd; previous cruises were on Carnival and we really wanted to compare the two. We got a great rate of $199 pp for the 4 night to Bahamas but it kept going down and ended up paying only $139pp for an inside!!!!

We flew into Miami a day early and stayed at the Hilton Miami Downtown (which isn't really downtown...more of the art district). Our rate was from Priceline and paid well under $100....not bad at all. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. We spent some time at Bayside Marketplace and had dinner then did a "Millionaire Row" boat tour which was really nice. Checked out at 11:00 and made our way to the pier for $10 by taxi.

Embarkation: Super fast and total time was less than 10 minutes. We must have gotten there right when they open because it took us longer to walk through the maze of a line then it did for the representative to check us in. Much faster than any Carnival line we've waited in. We were in the Windjammer eating lunch by 11:30.
