This was our 25th cruise. We never sailed with NCL before because there were a lot of mixed comments about them. But this cruise was the right length at the right price, so we gave em a try. What a pleasant surprise.

Embarkation was as smooth as can be. We walked right trough without the customary line-ups. Everything was extremely well thought out and organized. By the way, disembarkation was also unusually smooth. We took the express check-out and again, no waiting, no lines, just walk right off the ship. Bravo!

The cabin was a plain inside one, a bit crowded, but well thought out, clean and functional. We thought the sound insulation was somewhat lacking as it was easy to hear talk in the neighboring cabins. The cabin stewards were efficient and polite. In fact, we noticed that the entire staff on this ship was very friendly and tried very hard to make you feel comfortable, welcome and in control.

smaller than normal, marginal sound insulation, excellent climate control, well maintained and very functional.
