This is only our second cruise.....our first was in March on board the RCCL Serenade of the Seas. Getting on the ship took about an hour or so. It really wasn't a problem though. Once on the ship we went straight to the Garden Cafe to grab some lunch. Since we were towards the back of the line to get on the ship, the Cafe was really busy....but their was plenty of food, naturally...we were on a cruise ship!!! After lunch we did a quick tour of the ship, just to get to know it better. We had made the mistake on the first cruise of NOT doing that the first day. We finally made it to our room.....had the muster drill and then settled in to wait for us to leave the port. We found we enjoyed being on our own balcony as we sailed to sea instead of being up on deck.

PORTS: Our first port was Cayman Islands. We disembarked and took a taxi to 7 mile beach. They dropped us off at Royal Palms. This beach was unbelievable. We have traveled pretty extensive to tropical places in the Caribbean and Hawaii and I have to say this was the nicest beach I've seen so far. We only spent a couple hours on the beach and grabbed a taxi back to town. Unfortunately their were 4 ships that were in port this day, so the stores were packed with people and I didn't feel like I could enjoy the shopping. In the afternoon we had chosen to do the Atlantis Submarine Excursion. It was a nice excursion......We wish we could've seen a little more marine life than we saw, but we don't regret this excursion. We did get to go 130 feet under the water in the submarine. Next port was Cozumel. We had signed up for the Segway Excursion. This was FUN!!!!! I really enjoyed riding a Segway and getting a feel of Cozumel. We rode them to a little resort area where you could snorkel if you wanted or just relax on the beach....we chose to just relax, which I'm glad we did. I'm average size and their were a couple larger gentlemen that said they had a hard time snorkeling cause the seas were pretty rough that day.

FOOD: We were a little disappointed in the quality of food on the ship. We never had a "bad" meal, but didn't have a fantastic meal either. Our best meal would've been when we ate at Cagney's.
