We arrived in San Juan at noon, we had an early flight from the east coast and were eager to get to the port, we grabbed a taxi and headed to the ship, we arrived around 1pm and we very surprised of how quickly we were on board, there were no lines and the process was very efficient.

Our cabin was ready and was very nice, everything was in order and very clean, we dropped our carry bags and quickly headed to the pool bar to meet up with our friends and get the vacation started, we met Colin and Richard from the pool bar, they were great, we received some of the best service on this cruise from them, they were very friendly and eager to make sure we were having a great time. This was an indication of the service we had received all week.

The ship was very well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated, there was however an odor on certain parts of the ship that we had not encountered before on this or any RCI ship, it did seem to stay in certain parts of the ship all week, it was not over powering but it was unpleasant. The sailing was very smooth, we hardly knew we were on a ship all week, one of the reasons we choose San Juan as a port, we have sailed the Atlantic a few times and knew it.
