In life, it's always the little things...That is really what makes this a "B" cruise for us, and not the "A" cruise that we were used to with Princess in the past.
I need to begin this review with the fact that we booked the very nicest suite on the Crown Princess, in hopes of being a bit spoiled. Well, you do receive complimentary internet in the internet cafe, complimentary laundry (it takes 2 full days to get it returned to your cabin), priority disembarkation for the tender, but no extra special treatment... no concierge to help you with things (stand in line with all the other passengers), no complimentary cocktail hour every evening in a "Suites Only Lounge" (aka Royal Caribbean)... no front of line privileges at the Anytime dining (those lines are oh so long)... pathetic room service choices. We paid over $5000 for 2 people for this "Owner's Suite"... NEVER AGAIN. My money will forever go to RCCL - they treat you **right** and spoil you rotten.
We found the food to be ho hum to say the least. The buffets had very similar items as the dining rooms each evening, and only one buffet at breakfast served omelettes. Many people were not aware of this, and would practically die when they saw your plate w/ an omelette on it. The pizza is all thin crust, but good. I kept telling my husband that this experience reminded me of what Carnival was like 5 years ago.
Owner's Suite located under public decks. It is also located on the very end of the ship, so you will get a lot of movement in choppy waters.
