This is the longest cruise we have taken and frankly I don't think we could have picked a better itinerary. We cruised from Vancouver to Tampa via the Panama Canal, the Caribbean and the Amazon River! I could write 50 pages covering this cruise, in fact I have on a blog we wrote onboard as we cruised, but it would be too lengthy. Instead I will give the pertinent details and a general overview.

US...I'm retired...61 years old. My wife is 45 and works full-time at a job that allows her five weeks of vacation. We are experienced cruisers, but this is the longest cruise we have taken, and frankly it was like starting all over again.

EMBARKATION. We live in Vancouver so it was a matter of grabbing a cab to canada Place and getting on the ship. This is our second boarding experience at Canada Place and this one was just as quick and pain free as the first. Half hour after arrival we were sitting on the Lido!
