We want to thank the Princess Cruise line for a fabulous time. This was our first cruise with Princess, and we just loved it. Our cruise began at the Brooklyn Pier in New York on Oct 26, 2008. The embarkation process was very smooth and pleasant. Our stateroom was spotless as was the entire ship. We had a balcony that we enjoyed everyday and evening. We loved to just sit out there and hear the sound of the sea and smell the sea air...ahhhh! The food was fabulous!! We ate in anytime dining and at the buffets. The food in anytime dining was comparable to a 5 star restaurant, and the service was great. The buffet was wonderful and we enjoyed the option of being able to experience both types of dining. We thought there was a nice mix of people on board from all walks of life and from many different countries. We met so many nice people and hope to meet them again someday on another Princess voyage. Our stateroom steward went above and beyond the call of duty for us, and was always available if we needed anything. We particularly enjoyed the entertainment throughout the voyage. The comedians were funny and it was so much fun to see the show with the hypnotist. We laughed with tears. And, the Soprano, Philippa Healy was simply incredible!! What a voice! We took advantage of the self service laundry on board and really appreciated this feature. In fact, this was one of the features why we booked with Princess. We visited St. Kitts, Antigua and St. Thomas. Our favorite Island was St. Thomas. It had beautiful beaches and the shopping was terrific. We could go on and on about this wonderful cruise. It was a great value for a vacation in these tough economic times. On our last day of the cruise, we were very sad to leave but look forward to our next cruise with Princess, hopefully to Europe. As Italians, we felt a sense of pride to know that the ship was built in Italy and the Captain and chefs were native Italians. Thank you Princess for making our vacation a dream come true!
