Jolly Mon and his wife along with Low Rider and his wife flew into Fort Lauderdale the day before embarkation. Stayed at South Beach and enjoyed seafood at Shuckers.

Carnival makes embarkation easy. Us and and about 3000 other cruisers arrived at Port Miami to aboard Liberty. In a matter of 45 minutes we were checked in, put our carry on in our cabin, and were off to the Lido Deck for lunch and drinks. Get aboard early so as to get a jump on your vacation. When we got to our room we were met by our great room steward Rocky. An early tip to Rocky went along way in making sure we had all we needed in the room. We had great cabin stewards in Rocky & Bryan who were very friendly and attentive. PLEASE TIP YOUR CABIN & WAIT STAFF as they work their butts of for you working 10 hours a day/7 days a week.

We had an outside stateroom near the bow of the ship. High winds and rough seas rendered it very difficult to use balcony suites. We experienced very little rocking being on the lower level. We brought 2 power strips and 15 ft. extension cord which was very convenient when trying to recharge electronics.
