Traveled with children

We travelled from Glasgow to Southampton by train the previous day to our departure (but that's a whole other review). We travelled with my parents (60+, my Mother would kill me if I gave her actual age away!) and our children aged 15, 12 and 2.

We made our way to the ship from our hotel by taxi (there are a large number of cheap hotels less than a mile away from the Doc's)our luggage was duly taken from us and re-appeared at our cabin within a matter of hours.

The embarkation process was relatively quick and easy, we arrived around 12noon there was some queuing but it didn't take long to get our boarding cards and security checks sorted and before we knew it we were on the ship, it was all very accessible as we had our youngest in a buggy and were guided to the lift.
