EMBARKATION
Embarkation was time-consuming because there was insufficient staff to handle the 2000 passengers. The personnel available did an efficient job but were overwhelmed during the time we checked in (around noon).
SHIP CONDITION
We upgraded to a suite and found the accommodations to be more than we expected: plenty of storage, a great king-size bed, and a wonderful veranda. We were on the eighth deck and, considering that the pool area was directly above us, the cabin was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom featured a bathtub as well as a shower. Our room steward was excellent. We were provided with fresh fruit each day and ice twice a day.
