This was our second cruise on Royal Caribbean. We have also sailed Princess, NCL and Carnival. This ship compared in quality to our cruise on the Crown Princess. We enjoyed the beauty of the ship, how well it has been cared for, and all the activities it has to offer. We found the food, service, and entertainment to be very good.

We left on October 18th, and hit rough seas on the way to Bermuda. The Captain announced the next morning that we sailed through 40 ft swells and 50 mi per hour winds as there was a storm out over the ocean. That night was pretty rocky. The drawers banged open and closed, the ship creaked, etc. A fellow passenger told us he saw lounge chairs being blown from the ship into the ocean. The next day many were tied down. There were sea sick passengers.

We took dramamine round the clock the 1st two days, so we had some drowsiness even with the less drowsy formula. During this time, the pools, hot tubs, rock wall, ice show and dance show had to be cancelled for safety. We managed to enjoy these activities more on our way back from Bermuda. It was not warm enough to use the pools on the ride to and from Bermuda, but many people used the hot tubs.
